Kings Speech Review
Well, I know I'm weeks behind, but for anyone who hasn't already seen this movie, I suggest to go see it. That is of course, if you enjoy drama's, and awesome British humor. The story is superb.
The premise is basically King George the 5th is old and sick. He dies, and the kingship goes to his oldest son. However, his oldest son is a philanderer (or at least, is interested in one) and kings are unable to marry someone who has been divorced. That being said, the crown is then passed to the younger son, who happens to have a severe speech impediment. The time frame is that of WW2, and thus, it is extremely important that Europe has a leader that can you.... speak. So he proceeds to get a speech coach, and that's where the movie takes off, and doesn't let up. Before you complain about spoilers, all that information is given to you upfront anyways, but the movie is basically about the relationship between the two, and the growth of an unappreciated man .
It has just won 4 oscars... including best movie of the year (big one), best actor, best director.
Go see this movie!

I want desperately to see this film and hope to see it ASAP. Thanks for the quick review.
I think it looks okay, but pretty sensationalised. He was the King of the country, for God's sake. Should I really be expected to sympathise with him?
Sounds awesome, I definitely want to check it out as there has been a real lack of quality movies.
I been hearing so many good things about this movie. I must check it out to see for myself :D
I heard it was amazing. I'm definitely planning to check it
Been looking forward to seeing this for quite a while now... Didn't expect the crazy Oscar run though!
Screenplay that's 20 years old... it just had to be damn good!
i heard of that for the first time
Looks quite good actually, not really a fan or British movies, but I think this one is worth a try.
My friends have been bitching about how stupid the movie is. Of course they can never see the true depth of any story anyway. I want to see it at least.
Still need to see it. I'll probably review it.
I'll check this movie ;)
A fine film that deserves the praise.
Did see it a few days ago. Such a great movie. Makes me feel all fuzzy when I see that even Holiwood can produce something like this
Cant wait to see this movie
