Respect and Obey Authority
I'm linking this just because I think this video, all four minutes and twenty-nine seconds is what sums up what is wrong with North American society today. When the citizens take brainwashing into their own hands, you know something is wrong.
This video didn't even make me mad... more like disappointed that people can actually drop to this level. The fact that they're Christians doesn't play a part in it for me... but the fact that they're willfully accepting and even encouraging people to be blind sheep... yeah... anyways, let me know what you guys think.

I think parents that teach their children this sort of message in this manner are going overboard. Authority is necessary in society but children...well everyone needs to understand that its necessity doesnt cure Man of its ailments. Men are corrupt, evil and while I dont mean all men. You cannot trust that people in a position of authority wont abuse their power. Teaching children to `Obey`is dangerous. Children should be taught yes to adhere to rules and listen to authority figures, but blindly obeying anyone just because of a uniform or a title doesnt protect anyone but the person with the uniform on.

Think it's very weird on so many levels. Hope this is a troll video otherwise the person who made is one creepy dude
I tell my children to be critical to the world, and to respect opinions, and form their own opinions. I hope they will grow strong enough to take it up against authority if necessary.

Wow, these poor kids. I know I will see them on "60 Minutes" one day explaining their horrible experience in this cult, and how they had to scale an electrical fence, swim through a pirhana ridden mote, then hike through the forbidden forest to escape.

yeah I posted about this a while back. Respect should never be automatic. Respect is earned. In the words of George Carlin, some parents deserve respect, some don't. Period.

Well, it's a song froa a bunch of Christian kids singing about how it's import to 'Respect and Obey authority'... but the way they sing it's, it's implied both should be done without question. This is a very dangerous way to produce a lot of sheople kids.
