I'm just curious... but if you had a choice to be born in a different country, where would you choose? I was born in South Africa, and I've lived in the United States, and now live in Canada. But if I had to choose, I think I'd choose Germany.
I've actually started to learn German and it's a pretty awesome language.
The reason I would choose Germany is I have a great respect for the culture, attitude, and drive for excellence many of the people hold. It could be argued the same qualities are true for North Americans, but I don't think they apply to the general public so much over here. I had some German friends when I was in the States, and just talking to them showed me how much they valued everything they got, because they worked damn hard to get it.
This attitude showed true at the amazing German engineering from more companies than I'd care to list. Plus, the beer is awesome. I live in a German-centric city in Canada, and I have to say that Oktoberfest is my new favorite holiday, far surpassing Christmas and New Years etc.
So, where would you choose to live if you had a 'do-over'?

Holland, Amsterdam :D
Either Australia for the wild life or in the Netherlands. I'd open up a brownie/coffee shop and chill it out for a while!
german as an awesome language :D
for me its most annoying language ever. i studied it for 10 years and!
Can I choose the future? Utopia is preferable, but I'd take dystopia with the remains of utopian technology.
Failing that, I'd pick Sweden. No real reason, it just seems nice.
It would be between Italy, Japan or Canada for me.
I think I'd pick France because of my love of cinema.
I live in Italy, can't wait to finish this last year of high school then I'm off to the US.
But I'd love to live in the UK.
Anyways, I'll follow your blog.
I would choose Jamaica... for obvious reasons
Australia or New Zealand. All the people I've met from both countries have been exceptionally awesome.
Great question, Germany would be cool but if I had to grow up anywhere it would be Amsterdam... you can guess why.
I think I would just move back to Barbados, hell I still might.
New Zealand... quiet place, but if I choose a good place to work then Germany or Russia
Tahiti. Syphilis FTW!
I'd choose the US don't know why but i've always liked it
I live in Europe and yeah the germans work really hard but somethimes aI find them too serious or cold. And I agree the beer is the best in the world. I would love to live in New Zealand, it's a beautiful country with nice people.
Cali, USA...
MMJ baby ;D
On a more serious note i guess finland or somewhere the economy doesnt suck balls ;D
where ? I think Japan or stay in Poland :D
I think living in Germany would be fun! Spain would be awesome as well.
Lived in Halifax, Fredricton, Quebec City, and now Toronto myself. A change of countries would be nice. Depends on what I wanted. To live/work I'd probably choose Sweden if language wasn't an issue or France cause of the beaches.
For retiring I'd say Bahamas, or go Rambo and live in Thailand.
Nice posts dude I'm German, will be checking back regularly, wanna follow me?
